A talented equestrian, Mr. Oare has served as the managing partner and chief executive officer of EMO Stables LLC for more than five decades. Initially drawing inspiration from his grandfather, who owned numerous horses on a family farm, he eventually became the founder and operator of the Commander Horse Transport Company, a commercial horse transportation firm. After several years, Mr. Oare sold the firm and became the vice president of Warrenton Wholesale Inc., and president of the EMO Group, which served as the vehicle of his future ventures.
In addition to his primary professional duties, Mr. Oare serves as the founder and president of the Virginia Horseman Foundation. He is also active with the Warrenton Rotary Club and the Warrenton Chamber of Commerce. As a respected professional in his field, he has been featured in The Chronicle of the Horse. For his accomplishments over the years, Mr. Oare was inducted into the Virginia Horse Show Association's Hall of Fame, was named as the Horseman of the Year and received the Andrew Montgomery Award.
Presently, Mr. Oare maintains his professional affiliation with the Virginia Thoroughbred Association, the Virginia Racing Commission, the Virginia Gold Cup Association and the Virginia Horse Show Association. Throughout his career, he has attributed his professional success to his passion for horses. He is also grateful for his wife's family, who helped him stay on track toward realizing his ambitions.
