With more than three decades of professional experience to his credit, Dr. Gur, now retired, has found success as a private tutor since 2019. He previously excelled at the Clorox Company as a senior data scientist from 2014 to 2017 and an enterprise data architect between 2010 and 2014. The chief principal of Delegata from 2005 until 2010, Dr. Gur worked as the director and an enterprise data architect at MCI from 2003 to 2004, the chief technology officer of the government division of Worldcom between 2001 and 2003 and the director and chief technology officer of MCI from 1995 until 2003.
Prior to embarking upon his professional career, Dr. Gur pursued an education at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, where he completed coursework in engineering and physics in 1967. He later obtained a Doctor of Science from Technion Israeli Institute of Technology in 1979. With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Dr. Gur has authored a number of articles published in professional journals including the Journal of Colloid and Interface Science and the Journal of Rheology.
Outside of his primary vocational endeavors, Dr. Gur served as an invited speaker at the Daimler-Chrysler Colloquium in Stuttgart, Germany, in 2000. Likewise, he earned distinction as an adjunct professor at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1985. Looking towards the future, Dr. Gur intends to continue tutoring high school and college students in the subjects of physics and mathematics.
