Pamela A. Kauffman, RN, FNP, AGACNP Posthumously Celebrated for Excellence in the Role of Nurse Practitioner

Mrs. Kauffman utilized skills in acute trauma care and professional mentorship

Mrs. Kauffman served as a nurse practitioner at Cooper University Hospital for more than 30 years.

    CHERRY HILL, NJ, June 23, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pamela A. Kauffman, RN, FNP, AGACNP has been posthumously included in Marquis Who's Who. A celebrated member of her field, Mrs. Kauffman served as a nurse practitioner at Cooper University Hospital for more than 30 years. Demonstrating her commitment to educational advancement, she initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University in 1995, following this accomplishment with a Master of Science in Nursing from the same institution in 2007. An expert in orthopedics, adult gerontology and acute trauma care, Mrs. Kauffman earned a postgraduate degree in acute care from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019.

Notable for her numerous degrees and certifications, Mrs. Kauffman was a registered nurse, family nurse practitioner and was board certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. Attributing her professional success to her commitment to continuous learning, she worked full-time while earning her academic degrees and started her career as a diploma prepared registered nurse at Cooper University Hospital. In her last role, Mrs. Kauffman was responsible for the care of trauma patients, conducting assessments and evaluating the necessity of further physician care, fulfilling her tasks with focus and acumen.

As she considered her career's trajectory, Mrs. Kauffman hoped to continue growing as a mentor to the newer registered nurses in the hospital's employ. She also hoped to provide assistance and growth opportunities to nurse practitioners entering the professional sector. In accounting for her success, Mrs. Kauffman attributed the support of her husband and his encouragement to "count not the years, but the life that they bring."
