Furthermore, he focuses on being a servant leader to ensure that his team understands their value in the company. He notably began his career as a laborer for Augusta Erectors Inc. in 1993. Mr. Wiles subsequently gained experience as an ironworker and steel crew superintendent for Harmond Construction as well as in various leading roles for Lantz Construction Company, including as a superintendent and project engineer.
Mr. Wiles earned a Bachelor of Arts in mechanical engineering at Blue Ridge Community College in 2009. Well-qualified in his field, he is a licensed professional engineer. To remain aware of developments in his field, Mr. Wiles is also a professional member of the Free and Accepted Masons.
Involved locally, Mr. Wiles often volunteers his time participating in missionary work through his church. He also had the opportunity to speak at Dale Carnegie where he was recognized among its top three speakers. In 2021, Mr. Wiles was awarded first place in The News Virginian's Valley Favorites contest.
He enjoys spending time with his three daughters (Erin, Destiny and Flora) his step-son (Alexander Clark) and his grandson (Toby). He says the secret to his success is having a successful wife (Erica Wiles) to stand beside him.
