TROY, MI, September 13, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary M. Kucharek has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Supported by more than 30 years of experience in criminal and municipal law, Ms. Kucharek dedicates her career to improving her community through legal practice. She assumed the position of vice president of Beier Howlett in 2021 and currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Birmingham, the City of Orchard Lake Village, and the Village Attorney for Lake Orion.

As a registered nurse, Ms. Kucharek earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Macomb Community College School of Nursing in 1982 and the University of Detroit in 1988. She attained a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1992 and was admitted to the Michigan Bar Association the same year.

In recognition of her expertise, Ms. Kucharek was featured in Michigan Lawyers Weekly, "Women in the Law" class of 2017, and was named one of the most Notable Women in Law by Crain's Detroit Business in 2021. Looking to the future, she intends to spend more time assisting people through community activism. She aims to engage in additional charitable endeavors, including participation in grassroots efforts in her own neighborhood, mentoring young people in her community and helping senior citizens.
