An expert in endocrinology, Dr. Bordeau is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care for her patients. To prepare for her medical career, she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Trinity College of Vermont and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. She then underwent a residency in internal medicine at the Samaritan Medical Center and completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She is double-board certified in internal medicine and adult endocrinology. During her internship, Dr. Bordeau was appointed as the chief intern in 2011.
Inspired by her family members who are also medical professionals, Dr. Bordeau entered the field after volunteering as a candy stripe worker. She began her career as a medical doctor for Henry Heywood Memorial Hospital, and having had positive experiences in endocrinology during her medical school rotations, decided to specialize in endocrinology. Since 2021, she has excelled as a clinical and academic endocrinologist for SouthCoast Medical Group. In this capacity, Dr. Bordeau works in an outpatients setting, providing daily patient care.
As part of her dedication to her field, Dr. Bordeau is affiliated with the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Diabetes Association, the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American Osteopathic Association. A committed civil advocate, she also volunteers at a local soup kitchen with Saint Peter's Parish. Dr. Bordeau finds a great deal of fulfillment from educating others, and intends to transition her career to teaching medical students in an academic setting.
