In his leadership role, he partners with management personnel in the primary distribution, engineering and finance branches to maintain alignment across the company's offering suite; in fact, Mr. Wendt is responsible for overseeing the leadership in each unit and running day-to-day operations for the distribution platform of the business.
Mr. Wendt's previous experience includes positions as a staff accountant for Hau and Associates from 2007 to 2009, a controller for Paradise Builders LLC from 2009 to 2011, and a comptroller for Millennium from 2011 to 2013. More recently, he was the Vice President of Operations for Millennium from 2014 to 2015 and Vice President of Business Operations from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, he was the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing from 2020 to 2021. Mr. Went considers attaining the presidential role with Millennium as his most meaningful accomplishment to date.
An alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Mr. Wendt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance. He maintains an active industry network via membership with the Power Communications Construction Association, as well as an affiliation with his local chamber of commerce. Originally inspired toward entrepreneurial ends, Mr. Wendt has placed his focus squarely on bringing a positive, productive influence to his position with Millennium.
