Engaging with employees at various stages of the employment lifecycle, Mrs. Dotson develops strategic processes that support employees through their development, career progression, and building effective relationships to ultimately drive productivity in the workplace.
During the early stages of her career, she also gained valuable expertise in telecom, operations and leadership through Verizon, and Alltel Wireless. Mrs. Dotson has received multiple awards including Verizon Coins of Excellence in 2013, 2014 and 2015 for her work as a consultant, developing strategies for onboarding, and employee and leadership coaching. Most recently, Mrs. Dotson launched First Orion's first diversity and inclusion program which was highlighted in Arkansas' Best Places to Work and developed formal processes for their intern and apprentice programs.
Mrs. Dotson holds a bachelor's degree in business management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, which she earned in 2012 and 2015, respectively. An expert in her field, she is a newly Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) and Birkman-certified professional.
She credits much of her success to her commitment to people, her personal determination for continuing education and her passion to help others overcome barriers. These elements also overflow into her personal relationships where she provides guidance, and mentorship to others in the community. Within the coming years, Mrs. Dotson intends to seek out strategic partnerships, certifications, and consulting work.
