In this capacity, she is the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Daré Bioscience, Inc. Since 2022, she has focused her efforts on taking the company's products into the clinical trial space, collaborating with physicians, clinical research organizations and supply vendors to subject products to first-in-human clinical studies.
Prior to her current role, Mrs. Hatheway worked as a medical assistant for six years and then was part of a microbiology and genomic research laboratory. She became a medical technologist for Goshen General Hospital in 2007 and then for Covance in 2008. She was promoted to a project manager in 2009 and subsequently joined Roche as a study manager in 2012. Following this time, she was the Program Director of women's health for Health Decisions in 2017 until serving as the owner and clinical consultant with her company, JJH Consulting, which started in 2021.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Mrs. Hatheway earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology with a concentration in clinical laboratory science from Indiana State University, graduating with honors in 2006. She then attained a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012. Well-qualified in her field, she is a certified medical technologist American Society for Clinical Pathology and a certified clinical research associate with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Within the coming years, Mrs. Hatheway is looking forward to obtaining approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration for two products that will significantly benefit women's health. She also intends to grow her department further by finding young professionals to mentor.
