As a child, Mr. Ronquilio fostered a passion for weightlifting, after which he harnessed a deep commitment to physical fitness to pursue several successful business endeavors. To wit, he was a regional fitness director for 24 Hour Fitness from 2000 to 2007, through which he accumulated useful corporate experience; subsequently, Mr. Ronquilio found success as the general manager of Honolulu Club, capably serving the company through 2012.
Mr. Ronquilio is also well-known as a competitive bodybuilder and holds various titles, including Mr. Lightweight Champion in 2003 and the Masters National Lightweight Champion in 2002. He relied on insights gained from those experiences in the sport to envision and then launch two outstanding competitions: The Stingrey Classic is a bodybuilding and fitness competition that he has hosted annually in Honolulu since 2007, and Aloha Muscle is a show that was first staged in 2016. Notably, Mr. Ronquilio is the acting president and administrator of both yearly, and both are sanctioned by the National Physique Committee as national qualifying contests.
His successful presence and defined longevity in the hospitality and fitness industries created a solid platform for Mr. Ronquilio's professional advancement; moreover, he counts his dedication to these business lines as influential in his abilities as an exceptional communicator and intentional collaborator. Notably, he also pursued formal education and specific credentials that would advance his profile in the fitness industry; in 1991, he was named as a certified personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and Mr. Ronquilio proudly earned an associate degree from the University of Hawaii and completed coursework in liberal arts subject matter as well.
