OVIEDO, FL, June 27, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kelley Renier, MHSA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Renier has established herself as a distinguished professional in the health care industry, currently serving as the administrative director of operations at Orlando Health. In this role, she oversees the air care team, which is responsible for managing flight operations for critically ill patients. Her leadership extends to supervising critical care trucks and the Emergency Transfer Center, which coordinates emergent transfers across Central Florida's network. She also oversees patient neuroscience diagnostics and acute care rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.

Ms. Renier's career began in 2010 when she joined as a medical assistant at Gainesville After Hours Clinic. She then transitioned to roles as an optical sales associate at Optical Outlets and ophthalmic technician at both 20/20 Eyeglass Superstore and Dr. Truchelut & Chriss. Her journey continued as a talent agent at The Diamond Agency in 2014 before returning to health care as an administrative intern at UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health in 2015. Her dedication to patient access and financial management led her to serve as a financial counselor II at Arnold Palmer Hospital and a financial counselor lead at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

In 2018, Ms. Renier advanced to assistant manager of patient access ED at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she honed her skills in managing patient access operations. Her commitment to excellence earned her the role of patient access manager from 2021 to 2024, followed by her appointment as patient access director until 2025. Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated a remarkable ability to analyze financial data and operational workflows, implementing cost-effective solutions that enhance patient outcomes and improve organizational performance.

Serving as a foundation for her professional work, Ms. Renier holds a Master of Health Service Administration in public policy and management from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Florida, obtained in 2012. She has also completed several certifications from FEMA, including hospital emergency response training for mass casualty incidents and various National Incident Management Systems courses, finished in 2016.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Renier began studying biochemistry and psychology but shifted her focus entirely to psychology after research in pediatric ketogenic therapy revealed the critical role of family understanding and psychological well-being in patient outcomes. This decision unexpectedly strengthened her leadership skills, giving her valuable insight into team dynamics and motivation.

Inspired at age five by her compassionate pediatrician, Ms. Renier aspired early on to work in health care. Though she once considered becoming a physician, she later found her calling in leadership and psychology through supporting clinicians and advancing patient care. Her development was shaped by the Athena Women's Leadership Program and the Advanced Leader Program, which strengthened her leadership and team-building skills.

Throughout her career, Ms. Renier's contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including the ORMC Excellence Award Nominee, and Patient Access Leader of the Quarter on three occasions. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she is actively involved in civic organizations, such as Second Harvest Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity and annual heart walks. She further serves on several boards and committees, like Connect To Downtown and Emergency Management Orange County Council, among many others.

In her personal life, Ms. Renier enjoys spending time with her two dogs and dancing in various styles, such as en pointe, jazz, modern, lyrical, tap and West African dance. In the upcoming years, she is focused on cultivating experienced leaders within her team who can confidently represent their work at community events and build trust with patients seeking resources from Orlando Health. Her vision emphasizes empowering her team to be part of something greater than themselves through stabilized and standardized processes that demonstrate effective leadership.
