Mr. Cuellar Amrod's career trajectory includes significant roles at Cisco Systems, where he was senior director of enterprise networking operations from 2013 to 2015 and director from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in his career, he was vice president of global accounts at Alcatel from 2000 to 2003 and director of products at Xylan from 1998 to 2000.

His professional journey began with General Electric Healthcare, where he served in various capacities, including product manager, research and development manager and development engineer between 1991 and 1998. Before entering the corporate world, Mr. Cuellar Amrod led a distinguished military career. He served as an ocean systems technician in the U.S. Navy from 1978 to 1984 and later joined the U.S. Coast Guard as a sonar technician from 1985 to 1991. His military service includes multiple "codeword" missions while in the U.S. Navy and as a criminal intelligence specialist and boarding officer while in the U.S. Coast Guard, earning him commendations such as the U.S. Coast Guard Commendation Medal and the U.S. Navy Achievement Medal.

Mr. Cuellar Amrod's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Albany in New York, completed in 1991 through the College Afloat program while serving in the military. He has also pursued executive education sessions at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which have further honed his leadership skills.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Cuellar Amrod is actively involved with local food banks and holds several patents related to network device operations, machine learning, and power characteristics testing.
