PALO ALTO, CA, July 11, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adriana C. Faiman, MSW, LCSW, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Faiman has dedicated over four decades to the field of social work, establishing herself as a prominent figure in trauma-informed therapy. Her career began in 1984 as an educational psychologist therapist at the National Hospital Carolina Tobar Garcia Mental Health Center, where she honed her skills in psychoeducation and mental health counseling. From 1988 to 1990, she served as a mental health counselor at La Amistad, further developing her expertise in providing support to individuals and families with chronic mental illness.
In 1990, Ms. Faiman undertook an internship as a therapist and case manager, which paved the way for her role as a psychiatric social worker at Berkeley Mental Health Services in 1992. Her commitment to serving the community continued with her position as a clinical social worker at San Francisco Community Mental Health serving children and youth from 1992 to 1996. During this time, she also directed the Kids' Turn Latino Program, funded by the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Foundation, and served as a guest speaker on KIQI radio.

Her work as a psychiatric social worker at the Mental Research Institute's Latino Brief Therapy Center in 1999 further solidified her reputation in the field.
In 2004, Ms. Faiman founded Escuela del Sol, a Spanish immersion program for young children that she successfully ran for eight years before selling it. This initiative was inspired by her desire for children worldwide to learn a second language during their formative years. Currently, Ms. Faiman is associated with In Unison Wellness, Psychotherapy, Education and Coaching, where she facilitates counseling therapy sessions based on a wellness model. She also serves as Licensed Clinical Social Worker and consultant to schools at One Life Counseling Services and continues her work with In Unison Education, Wellness and Coaching, which she founded in 2009. Her dedication to helping clients achieve their goals through consistent treatment and support is a testament to her commitment to fostering trust and growth.
