Her tenure at the Wequassett Inn and Golf Resort as a pastry chef was marked by the establishment receiving a four-diamond AAA Rating from Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide in 2005 and 2006. She then served as an executive pastry chef at Chatham Bars Inn from 2006 to 2007.

In 2008, Ms. Caldwell joined Whole Foods Market as a Bakery ATL and moved onward to working as a Healthy Eating Specialist, where she leveraged her nutrition degree to lead the Health Starts Here® program until 2014. This initiative aimed to position Whole Foods as the healthiest grocery store in the United States by promoting various dietary lifestyles through clean and green eating movements. Her role involved creating recipes, teaching cooking classes, and providing expertise on dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free cooking.

In 2012, Ms. Caldwell launched her own business, Lisa Caldwell Your Kitchen Confidant, where she serves as both chef and nutritionist. Her company focuses on catering to clients with specific dietary needs, offering allergen-free options and personalized nutrition education. As a certified instructor with Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), she continues to educate others about food allergies and allergen-free cooking. Her commitment to this field has been recognized by Expertise.com, which named her the best personal chef in Boston from 2017 to 2023.

Ms. Caldwell is also an active member of several industry-related organizations and CozyMeal as a chef instructor.
