Michael Cornacchia began his career in the late 1980s, stepping into project management roles at Harper Mechanical / Limbach Holdings and John J. Kirlin, Inc., both leading nationwide mechanical / plumbing contractors. It was during these formative years that he honed his craft on large-scale commercial builds, developing deep, hands-on experience that would shape his approach for decades to come.

Across a 38-year career in construction, Mr. Cornacchia has established himself as a trusted expert in managing complex, high-profile builds across the country. For Mr. Cornacchia, it's always been about more than bricks and beams — it's about delivering work that stands the test of time and serves the people who rely on it every day. In 2006, Mr. Cornacchia transitioned from project management into consulting, joining Lovett-Silverman to support clients with CPM scheduling services, bond claim analysis, and CDI claim analysis, including the preparation of cost-to-complete estimates and exposure analyses. He remained through the firm's 2019 acquisition by J.S. Held LLC, where he currently serves as director. Mr. Cornacchia has also assisted in numerous property damage claims and has been qualified as one of J.S. Held's safety trainers. Over the past two decades, he has brought clarity and composure to numerous projects, helping teams stay on track, recover from setbacks, and complete their work on time and within budget with a sharp focus on coordination, efficiency and strategic planning.

Mr. Cornacchia has played an essential role in the successful delivery of major public and private sector projects spanning healthcare, government, entertainment, data centers, and infrastructure. His recent contributions include scheduling consulting for a 1.2 million-square-foot VA hospital, numerous marquee attractions and support facilities at Orlando-area theme parks, and most recently managing the completion and closeout of the mechanical and plumbing contract for the renovation of the Smithsonian's iconic National Air and Space Museum - a multi-year endeavor with an overall contract value nearing $1 billion. Together, these projects reflect a portfolio that reads like a cross-section of American infrastructure - a testament to his versatility and impact.

Mr. Cornacchia prides himself in providing clients with a professional and personal touch, always striving to exceed expectations with timeliness, open communication, and positive energy.
Mr. Cornacchia holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Florida and an associate of science degree in civil engineering technology from Mohawk Valley Community College. He also holds a LEED AP credential and is a longtime member of the American Association of Cost Engineering, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, and Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. He and his wife Jacqueline of 36 years are also dedicated supporters of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The American Cancer Society.
