Mr. Toma's foundational experience in supply chain management began at Amazon from 2013 to 2016. As an area manager and later an operations manager, he focused on inbound operations at an e-commerce fulfillment center in Spartanburg, SC. His work at Amazon was characterized by a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and process improvement, leading to significant cost savings and efficiency gains. Mr. Toma worked for Target from 2008 to 2013, where he held various roles including executive team leader roles in grocery, asset protection, remodel, and logistics. Mr. Toma started his career as the regional loss prevention manager for Belk department stores.

Academically, Mr. Toma's background includes a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University, completed in 2023, which has been instrumental in advancing his career by providing him with a comprehensive understanding of business administration and management principles. He also holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and sociology from the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia.
