Dr. Menendez Caraballo's most notable achievement in this position has been building the dispensary at VivaMas from the ground up, ensuring that patients receive care on the same day they need it and keeping 5 Stars across all plans on Part D medication adherence.

Before being acquired by VivaMas Medical Centers, Dr. Menendez Caraballo was a pharmacist at Publix Asset Management Company from 2022 to 2023. During her tenure, she refined her skills in pharmaceutical care and customer service, which laid the foundation for her subsequent leadership position at VivaMas. Before joining Publix, Dr. Menendez Caraballo worked as a care coordinator for Simply Healthcare Plans in Miami between 2014 and 2018. In this role, she coordinated patient care plans and facilitated communication between health care providers and patients.

Dr. Menendez Caraballo began her career as a clerk at Walgreens in Miami from 2010 to 2014, before earning her degrees. This early experience in the pharmaceutical industry provided her with valuable insights into retail pharmacy operations and customer interactions.

Playing a significant role in her professional success, Dr. Menendez Caraballo pursued coursework in industrial engineering in Cuba. Subsequently, she received an associate degree in pre-pharmacy studies from Miami Dade College in 2018. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Menendez Caraballo received a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University, both obtained in 2022.

In addition to her formal education, Dr. Menendez Caraballo's commitment to professional development has been evident through additional training and certifications, including completion of sexual orientation and gender identity training from the South Florida AETC and basic life support certification from the American Heart Association.

In light of her dedication to patient care and operational excellence, Dr. Menendez Caraballo earned a Recognition Award from VivaMas Medical Centers in 2024. She attributes much of her success to her supportive mother, who instilled in her the importance of having a profession and serving as an excellent role model.
