In this capacity, she is responsible for defining the overall strategy and integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to drive growth and incremental revenue. Among her most significant achievements, she played a pivotal role in driving several billion dollars in revenue from the recent launches of Search Ads at Google — a feat that benefited millions of advertisers and users globally and stands as a major personal milestone. Her achievements have been recognized with her inclusion in the prestigious and exclusive Forbes Technology Advisory Council.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Kalita was a Senior Product Manager for Google Cloud at Google from 2019 to 2023, during which time she was instrumental in shaping enterprise cloud-based solutions, contributing to the development and launch of key cloud offerings that helped save billions of dollars in Alphabet's capital (Capex) and operational (Opex) expenditures. In her initial role with the company as a Senior Platforms Lead for Google SAP S/4HANA Cloud Solutions, she led the multi-year SAP Cloud platform migration of Alphabet's multi-billion dollar financial systems (General Ledger, FP&A, International Controllership, Finance Master Data, and Tax), from Oracle to SAP, that touched all the financial processes, systems, data and operating models. She led the successful deployment of these strategic and complex migrations, solving some of the biggest pain points and challenges facing Finance at Google/Alphabet at the time.
Before joining Google, Ms. Kalita was an Assistant Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland Technology Advisory at EY in London as well as a Manager for the North America Technology Advisory division. She led several major multi-million dollar financial and platform transformations for global clients. Noteworthy mentions include defining the product strategy for a major finance transformation at Microsoft, and driving product and architecture microservices strategy at HSBC to migrate 95% of banking products to AWS cloud.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Kalita was a Senior Technical Program Manager for BUY Platforms Technology at Nielsen. She started her professional journey as a software engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in India, during which time she developed software applications for measurement companies in the retail industry.
Instrumental in shaping Ms. Kalita's ability to navigate complex product management challenges and deliver impactful solutions was her academic background, inclusive of UC Berkeley's Executive Education in Executive Product Leadership & Strategy, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in India, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class. Additionally, she is recognized as a SAFe agilist by Scaled Agile.
Reflecting on her career, Ms. Kalita attributes her success to excellent mentors, motivation, hard work and a goal-oriented mindset — qualities that have propelled her through various roles and achievements. Her accomplishments have been recognized with over 16+ awards at Google with the most recent recognition being one of the Google Inventors in 2025. She had received the 2013 Innovation Award at Nielsen for leading a mobile platform deployment that improved data analysis and remediation cycle time by 50%. She is also an author of several white papers that contribute to thought leadership within her field.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Kalita is actively involved in civic initiatives. Since 2015, she has volunteered for Nielsen Global Impact Day and several others contributing to community-focused projects. In addition, she has supported the Go Red for Women campaign with the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association since 2014, advocating for women's heart health awareness.
