Since 2006, she has served as an accountant and office manager at O'Keefe Drilling Co. in Butte, Montana, where she oversees finances, manages bids, coordinates scheduling, assists with human resources functions and directs the company's marketing presence in the social media age. With her skills and attention to detail spanning Microsoft Office, fixed assets and cash flow, she has contributed significantly to the operational efficiency and financial stability of the organization.

Committed to the ideals of continuous professional development, Mrs. Giop is a member of the Montana Water Well Drillers' Association — which she recently led as the first female president since 1945 after serving as vice president from 2020 to 2022 — the National Association of Women in Construction and the National Ground Water Association. Each of these affiliations have enabled her to remain at the forefront of construction trends and best practices while expanding her network.

Outside of her endeavors at O'Keefe Drilling, Mrs. Giop has demonstrated a deep commitment to civic engagement and industry leadership. Alongside her presidential role with the Montana Water Well Drillers Association in 2022, she has held board positions with the Montana Contractors Association (MCA) Education Foundation — which strives to promote and support individuals seeking careers in construction — since 2018, which she is now the incoming President for 2026. She also contributed as second vice president of the Montana Tech Alumni Association from 2019 to 2021; she was the treasurer before that for 5 years.

Before venturing onto her path in accounting and construction, Mrs. Giop earned a bachelor's degree in business information technology with a focus on management and accounting from Montana Technological University in 2006, while graduating with High Honors. She was later certified as a monitoring well constructor by the Board of Water Well Contractors in 2020, underscoring her technical proficiency and commitment to maintaining high standards within the field.

Mrs. Giop's dedication to community service is equally evident through her support of Butte youth sports and volunteer work with Big Brother Big Sister of Butte Silver Bow as well as SafeSpace, which provides vital mental health resources and supportive communities for young individuals in need.

A proud mother of two teenaged children, Mrs. Giop cherishes quality time and adventures with her family. Determined to further her impact in the future, she intends to focus on advancing more women into leadership positions within the groundwater industry. Through ongoing projects designed to connect with individuals who face challenges similar to those she encountered early in her career; she continues to offer guidance and support for future generations within groundwater as well as the general workforce.
