CLIFTON PARK, NY, November 19, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Malath Ibrahim Arar has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Arar has established a distinguished career as an engineer and consultant, recognized for his expertise in aerospace engineering with a focus on hypersonic engines and gas turbine technology. In his current capacity, he serves as an engineer and consultant at his own firm, Malath Ibrahim Arar, where he continues to advance the field through innovative research and technical leadership.

From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Arar held the position of staff engineer at GE Aviation. During this period, he contributed significantly to the development of advanced gas turbine technologies, earning the General Electric Outstanding Technical Contribution Award for his work in gas turbine development. His tenure at the firm was marked by the successful securing of several patents, including those related to axial vibration measurement and monitoring for long turbomachinery trains and alternative methods for gas turbine clearance control.

Prior to his role at GE Aviation, Mr. Arar served as a senior engineer at GE Energy for the preceding 18 years, where he worked in the design and optimization of energy systems, furthering advancements in dry low NOx combustor corrected parameter control and nitrogen injection methods for gas turbines. His earlier experience at GE Energy from 1988 to 1994 laid the groundwork for these achievements, as he focused on high-pressure inlet bleed heat systems and other critical innovations.

Mr. Arar's professional journey also includes a year as a systems engineer with Siemens Power in Milwaukee, where he contributed to power generation solutions. Before relocating to the United States, he spent five years as a maintenance engineer with Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations in the United Arab Emirates, gaining valuable experience in large-scale industrial operations.

In addition to his engineering roles, Mr. Arar has made significant contributions to academia and education. Since 2018, he has served as an adjunct professor at Union College and is a substitute teacher with Shenandoah Central School District in New York.
