His expertise in construction management is widely recognized, reflecting his ability to lead large teams and deliver complex projects efficiently.

Before joining Blox, Mr. Hergert held the same title of project superintendent III at The Blue River Group, LLC in 2025, where he supervised multifaceted construction operations and ensured project milestones were met with precision. His leadership at The Blue River Group, LLC was preceded by his tenure as general manager and preconstruction manager at ONEIDA General Mechanical Construction from 2024 to 2025. In this dual role, he directed preconstruction planning and managed overall business operations, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of both fieldwork and executive oversight.

From 2021 to 2024, Mr. Hergert contributed as project superintendent at The Blue River Group, LLC, where he coordinated site activities and maintained rigorous safety standards. His earlier experience includes serving as a validation specialist and project manager at CAI from 2020 to 2021, where he ensured compliance with industry regulations and managed critical validation processes.

Between 2017 and 2020, Mr. Hergert worked as a construction project manager for Volusia County School District, overseeing educational facility projects and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance learning environments. He previously served as project manager at General Mechanical from 2016 to 2017, where he managed mechanical construction projects and optimized resource allocation.

From 2015 to 2016, Mr. Hergert served as a construction skills teacher at DeLand High School in the Volusia County School District. This position stands out as his proudest achievement, as it allowed him to mentor aspiring construction professionals and impart practical knowledge to the next generation of workers and managers.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hergert was a field operations manager at Advance Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2015, where he supervised field teams and streamlined operational workflows. From 2013 to 2015, he served as superintendent at General Mechanical Corporation, managing on-site activities for significant projects. His leadership journey also includes serving as superintendent at A.G. Pifer Construction Co. from 2011 to 2013 and at H.J. High Construction from 2003 to 2010.

Mr. Hergert's professional journey began with a decade-long tenure as an electrician, followed by a move into construction management with H.J. High Construction in 2003. His steady progression through increasingly responsible roles highlights his commitment to excellence in the field.

He is an active member of Volusia County Future Builders, demonstrating his dedication to advancing the industry and his professional development.

Mr. Hergert's educational background includes earning a diploma from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach in 1991. He further enhanced his qualifications by becoming an NCCER-certified instructor in business through Daytona State College in 1993. This certification has enabled him to effectively train others in the industry and contribute meaningfully as an educator.

His success is deeply rooted in his faith in God and devotion to his family, which serve as ongoing sources of motivation and inspiration throughout his career.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Hergert has demonstrated a commitment to community service as youth director for Light House Baptist Church from 1993 to 1997.

Born in Daytona Beach, Mr. Hergert enjoys traveling with his travel trailer during his leisure time. He is married to Michelle and together they have a blended family of seven children: triplets who are twenty-seven years old, a twenty-nine-year-old daughter, a thirty-three-year-old son, a twenty-eight-year-old stepdaughter and a twenty-nine-year-old stepson. He is also a grandfather to one grandchild and three step-grandchildren.

Looking ahead, Mr. Hergert aims to advance into management roles within Blox, with aspirations to ultimately become the field operations manager for the company before retiring from the industry.
