Prior to starting his tenure at AVI-SPL, Mr. Cox excelled as a business development manager for Digital Sports Video, overseeing operations in Ohio, Michigan and Western Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2011. In this role, he was responsible for expanding the company's market presence, cultivating new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients in the football scouting software sector. His efforts contributed to long-term growth and visibility for the organization within a highly competitive market.

From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Cox served as a business development manager at Premises Control, a security installation firm in the Cleveland-Akron area. He played a key role in identifying and securing new business, developing client-focused solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services for small businesses, large corporations and school campuses. His ability to understand the needs of his clients and deliver tailored solutions was a hallmark of his leadership approach.

Mr. Cox began his journey as an account manager at Sarcom from 2001 to 2003, during which he was responsible for managing client accounts, providing technology solutions and supporting the company's growth objectives in the information technology realm. In addition to his corporate career, Mr. Cox dedicated 25 years as a high school football coach before retiring from the role. Before venturing onto his professional path in the technology sector, Mr. Cox pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing management from Grove City College in 1996. Reflecting on his achievements, he credits his mother and father as well as multiple mentors — including Fred Dubois, Tim Malone, Bob Ritley and Russ Jacques — for instilling a strong work ethic and teaching him the importance of approaching tasks and treating others in the right way, principles that continue to guide both his career and personal life.

He is also involved with St. John Neumann, his local church, as well as Catholic Charities USA, which strives to reduce poverty in the United States by providing safe and affordable housing solutions for families and individuals in need.

In recognition of his outstanding performance, he was named a top five salesperson globally in 2024 and received the Top Gun Award in both 2023 and 2024. Additionally, he is a five-time recipient of the Circle of Excellence Award at AVI-SPL, reflecting his leadership in guiding teams and clients alike to success.
Happily married and a proud father of three children, Mr. Cox is a dedicated family man and maintains an active lifestyle through physical fitness routines and playing golf. A dedicated supporter of Ohio State University football, he finds enjoyment in following the team's progress each year.
