With a specialized focus on grief recovery and healing, Dr. Williamson-Webb has built an impactful career in counseling. Since 2019, she has served as the owner, faith-based counselor, and integrative life coach at AWAKEN ME LLC, a HIPAA-compliant telehealth practice offering faith-based counseling and integrative coaching. She provides compassionate, culturally attuned care to individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds and across both religious and nonreligious belief systems.

Her work addresses trauma, crisis, grief, and a wide range of mental health concerns, reflecting her expertise in fostering emotional, personal, and spiritual growth. By integrating evidence-based clinical approaches with spiritual care, Dr. Williamson-Webb ensures holistic support for individuals navigating life's most challenging experiences.

Through her ongoing work of care and support at AWAKEN ME, as well as her involvement in ministry, pastoral care, and community outreach, she has become recognized for her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to strengthening families, promoting emotional well-being, and uplifting vulnerable communities.

Prior to founding AWAKEN ME LLC, Dr. Williamson-Webb dedicated more than a decade to St. Joseph's Health in New Jersey, serving as an outreach coordinator and case manager from 2007 to 2020. In these roles, she supported individuals and families by connecting them with essential community resources, coordinating public health programs, and advocating for underserved populations. Her work included managing outreach initiatives, providing comprehensive case management, and facilitating group and individual counseling to help clients navigate complex healthcare and social service systems while overcoming barriers to personal and wellness goals.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Williamson-Webb served as a program manager, program coordinator, and case manager at St. Mary's Hospital from 2004 to 2007. In these roles, she oversaw the development and implementation of a free cancer screening program provided by the New Jersey Department of Health, helping to provide more accessible care to underserved populations. While coordinating care for patients facing complex medical and psychosocial challenges, she gained valuable leadership experience and laid a strong foundation for her subsequent achievements in health care outreach and counseling.

Dedicated to the ideals of continuous learning, Dr. Williamson-Webb earned a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling from Liberty University in 2025. During her doctoral research, she identified two previously unrecognized areas of grief within the African American community. Her doctoral research examined the disruption of traditional African American grieving rituals during the COVID-19 pandemic and presented two original findings that advance understanding across mental health, psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology, and spiritual and cultural healing practices. These findings are now being developed into a forthcoming book and reflect her deep commitment to addressing unmet needs in grief counseling for future generations.

In addition to her doctoral training, Dr. Williamson-Webb holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Pillar College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from William Paterson University. To further strengthen her counseling expertise, she is certified as an Education Specialist in Counseling and Community Care by Liberty University. She is also board-certified across multiple counseling disciplines, including trauma, grief, crisis intervention, and marriage and family counseling, and holds advanced credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Grief Counselor Specialist, and Certified Court-Appointed Anger Management Specialist.

Along with her education, Dr. Williamson-Webb attributes much of her success to perseverance and determination, emphasizing the importance of overcoming doubt and adversity throughout her journey. Reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional development and maintaining the highest ethical standards within her field, she is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, the National Association of Anger Management, the International Association of Trauma Professionals, and the Center for Integrative Hypnosis.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Williamson-Webb is actively involved in civic initiatives. She volunteers with her local church and participates in efforts to feed the homeless within her community, demonstrating her steadfast commitment to helping others through everything she does.

In her personal life, Dr. Williamson-Webb is happily married and a proud mother of one miracle daughter. As a balance to her responsibilities with AWAKEN ME, she enjoys the theater, fine dining, public speaking, and spending quality time with her two grandsons.

Looking to the future, Dr. Williamson-Webb is committed to expanding her impact by conducting further research on grief and grief counseling. She recently had a patent filed in the House of Congress to protect her innovative ideas related to this work.
