Since 2022, Mr. Syed has served as Senior Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at Domino's Pizza International, where he provides strategic oversight across more than 25 countries. In this role, he is responsible for guiding long-term growth strategies, improving franchisee unit economics, strengthening governance frameworks, and advancing digital transformation initiatives that enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency. Widely regarded as a trusted partner to franchisees, Mr. Syed has been instrumental in designing scalable operating models that enable rapid expansion while preserving local relevance. His leadership emphasizes sustainable profitability, data-driven decision-making, and cultural intelligence; ensuring that global brand standards are thoughtfully adapted to the realities of regional markets. Under his stewardship, multiple territories within his remit have emerged as high-performing growth engines within Domino's international system.

From 2017 to 2022, Mr. Syed served as Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, a period marked by significant transformation across several emerging and developing markets. During this time, he led initiatives that modernized operations through analytics, insights led intelligence applications, and performance management systems, enabling improved operational efficiency, labor optimization, and store-level profitability. He also supported the introduction of new store formats, digital ordering enhancements, and strategic partnerships that balanced global brand consistency with local agility.

Earlier, between 2015 and 2017, Mr. Syed held the role of Business Manager for the Middle East and North Africa, following his relocation to Dubai. He was part of the founding leadership team tasked with establishing Domino's regional office in the Middle East from the ground up. At the time, the region consisted of approximately 600 restaurants operating across varied regulatory and cultural environments. Through close collaboration with franchise partners and internal teams, the region experienced accelerated development, ultimately becoming one of Domino's most dynamic international platforms. Mr. Syed regards this period as one of the most defining chapters of his career, as it reinforced his belief that long-term success is built through people-first leadership, franchisee trust, innovation and operational excellence. He takes particular pride in the teams developed during this time; many of whom advanced into senior leadership and ownership roles within the system.

From 2012 to 2015, Mr. Syed was based in the Netherlands as Area Leader for Europe and the Middle East, where he managed cross-functional teams and executed strategies that improved market penetration, brand alignment, and operating standards across multiple countries. His responsibilities required navigating diverse consumer behaviors, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes, further sharpening his global leadership capabilities. Mr. Syed began his career with Domino's Pizza in 2010 after being selected for the company's highly competitive International Leadership Development Program in the United States. The program provided immersive exposure to store operations, supply chain management, franchise relations, and financial controls; instilling a disciplined, hands-on leadership approach that continues to shape his management philosophy.

Prior to joining Domino's, Mr. Syed built a robust foundation in multi-unit retail operations, sales leadership, and workforce development at Sprint Nextel Communications Inc., where he spent seven years in progressively senior roles. As a General Manager from 2007 to 2010, he led multiple locations, driving consistent revenue growth, customer satisfaction improvements, and talent development. Earlier, as Operations Training Manager (2005–2007), he designed and deployed training programs that improved performance and engagement across multiple markets. He also served as Strategic Account Sales Manager (2003–2005), managing high-value B2B relationships and complex commercial negotiations. Mr. Syed's early career included B2B sales at Gateway, where he focused on enterprise client solutions, as well as sales and marketing roles at Circuit City, where he progressed from retail analyst to sales and marketing consultant. These experiences laid the groundwork for his expertise in fast-paced retail execution, customer engagement, territory development, and performance analytics. Throughout his career, Mr. Syed has developed deep proficiency in global franchising models, e-commerce strategy, supply chain and distribution oversight, legal and franchise agreement management, pricing architecture, and profit-and-loss accountability. He is also recognized for his ability to translate complex strategic objectives into actionable plans that resonate with operators on the ground.

Academically, Mr. Syed earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from DeVry University in Chicago in 2003, followed by a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from Loyola University Chicago in 2010. He has continued to invest in professional development through executive education in leadership, strategy, and high-performance team management, including a digital marketing program at Google and Inclusion, Diversity, and Leadership Essentials through Domino's Pizza LLC.

Mr. Syed attributes his professional advancement to a leadership philosophy grounded in adaptability, humility, operational rigor, and continuous learning. He is particularly passionate about environments where operational excellence intersects with human connection, believing that the strongest organizations are built when leaders remain closely connected to frontline realities. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Syed maintains active involvement with the Domino's Partners Foundation and DBSJP Foundation, and he supports various community and charitable initiatives. Outside of work, he values time with his three children and enjoys traveling with his family.
