WYLIE, TX, May 08, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shayla Nicole Eberst has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mrs. Eberst has built a distinguished career grounded in the belief that at the heart of every organization are the individuals who pour their energy and creativity into building something extraordinary. Across health care, nonprofit leadership and corporate operations, she has championed relational leadership — an approach that prioritizes authentic human connection, mentorship and the development of people as the foundation for meaningful business impact. Supporting and developing people, she often notes, has been one of the most fulfilling parts of her career.

In January 2026, Mrs. Eberst assumed the role of Chief of Staff at Leap Metrics, where she continues to apply her relational leadership philosophy alongside executive leadership and health care professionals. Her focus remains on driving alignment by connecting teams, mentoring emerging leaders and creating space for individuals to thrive.

Prior to Leap Metrics, Mrs. Eberst served as Chief of Staff at Eden Green Technology from 2022 to 2025. Beginning her tenure in 2022 as an Executive Assistant, she advanced quickly into higher leadership — not through conventional pathways, but by investing deeply in the people around her and building trust across every level of the organization. Her ability to connect with, support and develop teams became the hallmark of her impact.

In 2021, Mrs. Eberst co-founded the Texas Institute of Professional Psychology, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing educational resources for clinicians. The initiative reflects her conviction that empowering people — in this case, master's-level clinicians pursuing doctoral studies — creates a ripple effect that benefits entire communities, with patient-centered care at its core.

During the preceding 10 years, Mrs. Eberst served as a Senior Manager of Utilization Review at Elements Behavioral Health, advocating for individuals facing substance abuse and behavioral health challenges. Concurrently, from 2012 to 2021, she worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Promises Behavioral Health, providing direct care to patients during their most vulnerable moments. Among her signature practices was presenting patients with a photograph taken on their first day — a gesture that served as a powerful reminder of their progress and potential. These years on the front lines of behavioral health care shaped the foundation of her relational leadership philosophy: that meaningful change happens one human connection at a time.

Mrs. Eberst's academic background includes coursework in psychology at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and a certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse from Cisco College in Abilene, Texas. While she recognizes the high value of a traditional education path, she also acknowledges that it is often a privilege not afforded to or the right choice for everyone — and that alternatives, such as objectives-based learning models, can be equally powerful avenues for development. Mrs. Eberst remains a lifelong learner, continually seeking growth through experience, mentorship and self-directed study, even when that journey lies outside the bounds of formal education. Meaningful growth and impact, she emphasizes, are not limited by traditional credentials — a principle reflected in her own career journey.

Reflecting on her path, Mrs. Eberst credits much of her success to mentorship from women who preceded her in various fields. Their willingness to share life experiences and guidance shaped her growth as a leader and reinforced her belief in the power of investing in others. That mentorship continues to inform how she leads today.

Mrs. Eberst pursued her profession out of a longstanding inclination toward leadership and a commitment to helping others. From an early age, she gravitated toward roles that involved guiding and supporting those around her. Her experience in behavioral health nursing — particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic — strengthened her understanding of the critical importance of mental health and the need for specialized clinician training. Her most notable achievements center on her compassionate work with individuals facing substance abuse and behavioral health challenges, where she demonstrated a consistent commitment to walking alongside people through their most difficult periods of life.

Outside her professional work, Mrs. Eberst's dedication to relational leadership extends into her church community, where she lives out a "pass it on" philosophy — believing the impact of meaningful work is meant to ripple outward, reaching others through the relationships we nurture. Since 2012, she has been actively involved in various church ministries, co-organizing community blood drives with her husband and serving in Sunday school as well as women and youth programs. Through these efforts, she sees firsthand how investing in people creates lasting impact that travels far beyond any single moment of service.

Born in Abilene, Texas, Mrs. Eberst has built a life centered on family connections and meaningful relationships. She is intentional about spending quality time with her husband and three children through seemingly simple acts like shared meals and family game nights — proof of her conviction that the smallest acts, done with purpose, often leave the largest mark. She faithfully supports her son at his baseball games and cheers on her oldest daughter at her powerlifting competitions, while eagerly anticipating watching her youngest daughter— currently three years old — grow into her own passions and pursuits. For Mrs. Eberst, the most rewarding part of supporting her children isn't the sports or activities themselves, but the opportunity to help them recognize the leadership lessons woven into those experiences and apply them to their own lives. Her children, she often notes, are her true legacy. In quieter moments, she enjoys journaling and creating doodle art.

In recognition of her impact on business and community, Mrs. Eberst was honored as an Influential Woman in Business by Influential Women Magazine in 2025. Looking ahead, she remains committed to advancing relational leadership as a force for transformation — proving that when leaders invest in people first, extraordinary outcomes follow. Whether in health care, nonprofit work or executive leadership, Mrs. Eberst continues to lead with connection, not convention.
