CONVERSE, TX, May 08, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Claudia E. Gonzalez, MA TESL, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Gonzalez has distinguished herself as a dedicated educator and advocate for student growth, most recently serving as a kindergarten teacher at Judson Independent School District from 2021 to 2026. In this capacity, she fostered engaging and interactive learning environments for young students, promoting intrinsic motivation and a love for learning. Her expertise in differentiated instruction and scaffolding strategies enabled her to address diverse learning styles, enhance early literacy and numeracy skills, and monitor student progress through both formal and informal assessments.

As a kindergarten teacher, Ms. Gonzalez prepared her students to meet kindergarten learning objectives and standards, supporting their readiness for the transition to first grade while encouraging active participation and confidence in learning. She cultivated lifelong learning habits and community contribution by celebrating various occasions with meaningful activities that involved families, fundraising efforts and non-fundraising events.

During her tenure at Judson Independent School District, Ms. Gonzalez was recognized for her dedication to her students' academic, cognitive and emotional development. Her nomination for Educator of the Year for the 2024 to 2025 school year stands as a testament to the significant impact she made on her students and their families. Additionally, she was honored with the Golden Classroom award in both 2023 and 2024 based on frequent observations by custodial staff at Masters Elementary for maintaining a clean, safe and clutter-free learning environment.

Prior to her role as a kindergarten teacher, Ms. Gonzalez served as a short- and long-term substitute teacher at Judson Independent School District from 2018 to 2021. In this position, she adapted quickly to various classroom settings, providing continuity of instruction across multiple grade levels. She also worked as a substitute teacher at East Central Independent School District between 2018 and 2020, where she further honed her classroom management skills in diverse educational environments.

Ms. Gonzalez's career began in high school education as a science teacher at La Vernia Independent School District during the 2017 to 2018 academic year. There, she developed curriculum-aligned lesson plans that promoted scientific inquiry and critical thinking among students. Her earlier experience includes serving as a substitute teacher at Southside Independent School District from 2016 to 2017.

Outside traditional K-12 classrooms, Ms. Gonzalez provided home-based English-as-a-second-language tutoring in 2026, including personalized lessons for her mother, which resulted in notable improvements in language proficiency. She has also worked as a home tutor since 2015, supporting former kindergarten students whose enthusiasm for reading and math flourished under her guidance.

Ms. Gonzalez's commitment to education extends to fieldwork experiences, including classroom observations at elementary schools in 2019 and high schools in 2015, as well as clinical teaching internships at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable customer service experience as a sales associate at OfficeMax from 2009 to 2016 and At Home Stores LLC between 2002 and 2009. She also served as a laboratory assistant in the biology and chemistry departments at the University of the Incarnate Word from 2001 to 2002.

Known for her impact in the field, Ms. Gonzalez's professional achievements have been recognized through several honors. Her accolades include a 2012 Customer Service Award, dual 2010 Work Recognition honors for bilingual client support and 2003 Employee of the Month and Perfect Attendance awards. Academically, she maintained a presence on the Dean's List throughout her studies, a standard of performance that served as the foundation for her recent nomination and receipt of the 2024-2025 Educator of the Year award.

Ms. Gonzalez's academic background is equally distinguished. She graduated cum laude from Judson Independent School District with a grade point average above ninety before beginning her collegiate studies at Incarnate Word College, where she earned Dean's List distinction with a grade point average of approximately 3.7 during her first two semesters. She then transferred to The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2006.

After earning her undergraduate degree, Ms. Gonzalez pursued continuing undergraduate studies in biology, chemistry and physics at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio in 2009 before returning to The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned a Master of Arts degree in teaching English as a second or foreign language with an emphasis on English as a second language in 2014. During graduate school, where she achieved an impressive grade point average of 3.8, she found great fulfillment in developing lesson plans for English language learners.

Complementing her formal education, Ms. Gonzalez holds certifications from the Texas Education Agency, including teaching English as a second language certification, as well as EC-6 core subjects with science of teaching reading certification.

Ms. Gonzalez attributes much of her success to the inspiration provided by her mother, who has lived in the United States for nearly five decades but faced challenges mastering English despite excelling at times. Motivated by this experience, Ms. Gonzalez developed greater confidence in sharing her Spanish-speaking abilities with others while embracing bilingualism throughout her career. Her passion for bilingual education was further fueled by positive experiences working in bilingual and English-as-a-second-language classrooms during her time as a substitute teacher.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Gonzalez has contributed to civic life through volunteer roles. Her experience includes providing clerical support for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program and the Brooke Army Medical Center's emergency and urgent care departments in 2004, followed by pharmaceutical observational roles at Oakdale Pharmacy and Alamo Heights Pharmacy LLC in 2005.

In her personal life, Ms. Gonzalez enjoys nail art, cooking, baking, reading, writing and studying Italian. Looking ahead, she is dedicated to advancing adult education, particularly in teaching English as a second language. She aspires to foster proud bilingual individuals within the San Antonio community and beyond, while also working toward establishing her own home and achieving personal independence. Her vision centers on empowering others through language acquisition, recognizing its essential role in strengthening job skills, enhancing cross-cultural communication and supporting meaningful contributions in an increasingly global society.
