WASHINGTON, D.C., May 13, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Curtis Forsythe has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Forsythe currently serves as the chief executive officer of CDF LLC, a Washington, D.C.–based holding company he has led since 2021. Under his direction, CDF LLC oversees four subsidiaries, with his primary focus on CDF Spirits. In this capacity, he is developing an innovative tequila and matcha tea blend, actively collaborating with distilleries and distributors while preparing for initial funding rounds. He also manages a fabric-based venture in partnership with an Indian manufacturer, producing an upscale line of oversized kitchen towels inspired by Art Deco design and utilizing artificial intelligence tools for marketing assets.

Additionally, Mr. Forsythe is advancing Core Luxury Menswear, which is nearing completion of its technical packs for a high-quality shirt line. This division includes a complementary underwear collection featuring comfort-focused designs with soldier and cowboy patterns, produced in China and positioned as a niche product for consumers seeking both quality and playful design at accessible prices.

Overlapping with his current ventures, Mr. Forsythe served as the treasurer on the board of directors for Rosie's Theater Kids from 2005 to 2025, a New York City nonprofit dedicated to arts education for children beginning in second and third grade. In this role, he provided financial oversight and contributed to fundraising and operational stability, supporting the organization's dedicated school and facilities on 45th Street in Manhattan. During his tenure, Rosie's Theater Kids grew its reserves to approximately $4 million.

Previously, Mr. Forsythe was chief financial officer at Outtask Inc., a technology company he co-founded in 1999 during the early expansion of the internet. Initially focused on aggregating enterprise software solutions and integrating with platforms for sales management and Great Plains for financial accounting, Outtask expanded through the acquisition of Vinnet, an expense management company.

Under Mr. Forsythe's leadership, Outtask evolved into a web-enabled enterprise expense management platform with advanced security features and workflow-based approval structures tied to job roles and thresholds. The company established relationships with major global distribution systems in the travel industry—including Amadeus and Galileo—and developed proprietary web-scraping capabilities to optimize pricing across flights, hotels and car rentals while applying corporate discounts.

Mr. Forsythe played a pivotal role in these high-stakes negotiations, leading to Outtask's sale to Concur Technologies (now SAP Concur), representing the company at American Express headquarters in New York City shortly after September 11. The acquisition was structured as half-cash and half-stock; following integration of their respective tools, Concur's stock value increased significantly before SAP acquired the company for $300 million.

From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Forsythe held senior management consultant and business intelligence director roles at Platinum Technology Inc., a Chicago-based enterprise software firm led by Andrew Filipowski. There, he worked on large-scale database environment tools, such as Insurance Advisor and Risk Advisor for clients like GE Capital in Kansas City and contributed to Manufacturing Advisor.

Mr. Forsythe began his professional journey at Grant Thornton Advisors LLC in Chicago from 1983 to 1997, as an assistant controller and accounting clerk, an audit staff member and a manager. He is particularly proud of his work supporting companies through public offerings during his tenure as auditor, most notably U.S. Robotics' public launch at approximately $11.50 per share with subsequent growth above $200 per share before its sale. His audit experience extended to significant clients like Tellabs Inc., Continental Bank and Montgomery Elevator Company. He also led or participated in multiyear audit engagements for universities, including the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University of Illinois at Bloomington and Southern Illinois University.

Mr. Forsythe's earliest professional experience was as an accounting clerk and developer at Vulcan Materials Corporation's Midwest Division in Countryside, Illinois, from 1980 to 1982. There, he supported the transition from manual accounting systems to early desktop computing by building spreadsheets and assisting with monthly financial statement production.

Academically, Mr. Forsythe was prepared for his roles with a bachelor's degree in business from Western Illinois University, earned in 1990, and a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business management from the University of Illinois Chicago, completed in 1984. He pursued additional coursework in business administration and management at DePaul University, as well as accounting and finance at Indiana University Bloomington. He became a certified public accountant in 1995 after passing the Illinois CPA examination.

He financed his own education while establishing independence in downtown Chicago shaped his resilience and drive for achievement.

Throughout his career, Mr. Forsythe has maintained active civic involvement as a donor to Rosie's Theater Kids and the Democratic Party, as well as volunteering with Food and Friends during his years at Chicago Circle Campus, preparing meals for underprivileged communities across Chicagoland. He has also organized charity croquet tournaments that raised substantial funds through partnerships with sponsors like Absolut Vodka.

Outside his primary work, Mr. Forsythe has contributed to creative pursuits, producing twelve Broadway musicals and several dramas. He earned Tony Awards for best musical producer for "Dear Evan Hansen" in 2018 and best revival of a musical producer for "The Color Purple" in 2017.

Outside of work, Mr. Forsythe enjoys renovating houses—having completed five successful property flips—and producing Broadway productions. His future goals include launching his tequila-matcha spirit product into national and global markets while advancing his fabric and menswear lines through platforms like Amazon and Shopify. He also plans to continue networking through overseas production websites and trade shows like the Canton Marketplace Exhibition in China and maintain essential relationships with manufacturers worldwide.
