ACAS Makeup Academy: "What Happens When You Look Beyond the Obvious... Defy Conventional Tradition, Fight the Common, Welcome the Uncommon ..and Leave Predicable Behind..You Become ORIGINAL"

Something far from ordinary is about to take place this September the infamous Steven Sylvester will be combining forces with (ACAS) Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Sciences to create an one of the most artistic editorial photo shoots ever.

BOCA RATON, FL, August 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ms. Katrina Bodrato, Founder of Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Sciences, a nontraditional makeup school based out of Boca Raton, Florida and Mr. Steven Sylvester an acclaimed contemporary clay artist have discovered the element that tied their two worlds together. Some would call it an appreciation for each others insane yet different approach to contemporary art and abstract editorial fashion makeup.

"What is Editorial Contemporary Fashion Fusion? This is what both of us are known for THE TWIST," says Ms Bodrato.

It's a collision of rock star makeup meets modern contemporary art, globetrotting inspired culture and couture fashion. Result ...the furthest from tradition.

We like to call it Twisted Beauty! Versus "Beauty with a twist" *(Yawn)"

Mr. Sylvester has taken clay off the pedestal, its traditional place, combined it with wire and created "the Ladies Dress Series" amazing masterpieces have been transformed from otherwise ordinary elements into unique sculptures that have graced the walls of famous museums and galleries. Now we are taking it off the walls and puting in on the human body.

Mr. Sylvester states, "Although we appreciate the uncommon and as different as our worlds may seem on the surface both Ms Bodrato and myself have dedicated most of our lives and have made significant contributions to helping others through the power of art and education we change lives."

ACAS Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Sciences combines the art of airbrush makeup / media makeup with these unique events, students work hands on with infamous contemporary artists, top South Florida fashion photographers in a real live photo shoot with real fashion models on location at secret venues.

The make up students are given an abstract theme much like an actor/actress is given a script. The theme is to provide inspiration and provide the opportunity for the soon to be professionals to dare to be different ...That is what art is all about, each look is unique, however the entire shoot is tied together by one element. This encourages us to appreciate each other for individuality.

Students will also be provided with the professional magazine quality digital photos for their portfolios along with behind the scenes footage of themselves working on set.

In addition, starring in their own video in which they will have full right of use on their websites.

Graduating students are able right out of school to say they have worked with some amazing industry celebrities along with having the footage for proof. No other makeup artist training school offers this real-world experience for their students.

Katrina Bodrato is the president and founder of the Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Sciences (ACAS), License #3954. ACAS is very different from your typical school. We set up our students to succeed, there is a lot more to being successful than just learning a trade."

ACAS Academy is a top national cosmetic enhancement institution that continues to raise the bar in education. This unique institution specializes in the arts and sciences in all avenues of cosmetic training. The only thing you can expect from this academy is success.

Steven Sylvester says, "In conclusion, I view myself as being one half clay artist and the other a social worker, which harkens back to my prior profession. I revel in creating clay art projects that are therapeutic in nature, build personal relationship skills and address community needs. I love it when I am able to involve my art in taking an active role in addressing society's needs."
