Ms. Wright brings more than 14 years of professional experience to Alethea Wright and Associates, her own business consulting company. As founder and executive director, she manages marketing and business consulting services. She is also proud to lend her talents to Creative Steps, a nonprofit organization that she established in 1997. Dedicated to serving the community, especially the youth and children with special needs, it introduced Training Refining Advancing Daily Employment (TRADE), a high school program that assists teens with community service and job training and helps them understand the workplace. Ms. Wright considers starting Creative Steps and nurturing a partnership with the School District of Philadelphia to be her greatest professional accomplishments, and attributes her success to her compassionate nature and faith in God.

A product of Arcadia University, Ms. Wright will earn her Master's Degree in Special Education in 2010. Previously, she served in the United States Army as a supply sergeant for 12 years.
