CHICAGO, IL, December 13, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Culinary Fight Club, the national cooking competition, hosts its fourth annual Sip + Bite Competition in three cities in 2017. Chefs compete to create the perfect pair up of drink and plate for the coveted Culinary Fight Club Trophy, CFC Chef Coat, 2018 World Food Championship Golden Ticket and the Invite to compete in the 2018 Culinary Fight Fest/The Final Plate battle in Chicago.
The 2017 Season finale event in Chicago is hosted by Barn & Company. (950 W Wrightwood Ave, Chicago, IL 60614) on December 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The December 18 event in Chicago will highlight Seven local home cooks and chefs; Chef Kris Schoenberger, owner of BBQ'd Productions, Chef Greg Gaardbo owner of Chicago Culinary Kitchen, Chef Stefano Roman chef owner of PR Italian Bistro, Chef Paul Caravelli Executive Chef of Stained Glass, Chef Ross Johnson Executive Chef of Carriage Green Country Club, Corey Rice - Home Cook and Erik Martinez - Home Cook. Three judges will select the 2017 winning perfect pair up. Judges are two-time Culinary Fight Club Champion Chef Mark Gaylord with Sodexo, Audarshia Townsend Managing Editor of Restaurant Inc., Magazine and three-time Culinary Fight Club Champion, Chef Lance Avery, Chef/Owner of Big Fork Brands.
Sponsors for the events include Reinhart Foodservice, Woodford Reserve, Bull Outdoor Grill, Sam Adams, and Barn & Company.
Tickets for the events are $40 and available to purchase on Eventbrite. Each ticket helps fund Fight2Feed, a non-profit that aims to feed the hungry. Kansas City will host the first Kansas City Fight2Feed mission in January 2018. 20% of all Culinary Fight Club ticket sales go to support Fight2Feed. To date the organization to fight hunger has shared over 50,000 meals in Chicago and Atlanta.
