Martin Roy Kleinman, AIA Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

Martin Roy Kleinman celebrates 40 years in the architecture field



    CHICAGO, IL, July 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Martin Roy Kleinman, Principal at Martin Kleinman and Associates, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of architectural design.

With 40 years of experience in his field, Mr. Kleinman is an expert in architectural design theory and practice. As a Principal at Martin Kleinman and Associates, LLC, he is responsible for managing additions and renovations to single-family homes and commercial properties, designing, construction drawings, interacting with clients, contractors and suppliers over the phone, meeting potential clients, writing field reports, billing, invoicing and attending site meetings with various construction crews. Mr. Kleinman received a N.Y. State Regents Scholarship to attend Pratt Institute and a research grant while at Cornell University. He also taught design theory at SUNY Buffalo, the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and the University of Notre Dame. A volunteer architect in The Peace Corps in Tunisa for three years, he worked on a plan for 25-year growth for an existing town which was presented to the municipal council and the mayor in Arabic. He is interested in sustainable architecture and attends continuing education courses as a part of keeping his license.

Mr. Kleinman received his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Cornell University in 1975 and his Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in 1969. He is a member of The Art Institute of Chicago, The American Institute of Architects and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He hopes to become involved in high-end residential projects.
