Q: What is it About Your Company You Feel Sets You Apart From Your Competitors?
A: We believe our dedication to tax savings and commitment to client satisfaction sets us apart in the industry. Regardless of size, we offer individuals and business owners investment and estate tax planning.
Q: How Will Winning This Award Affect the Work You Do Moving Forward?
A: This award will encourage us to continue on our blueprint for success. We'll stay focused on our commitment to quality, business and investment tax savings, and client satisfaction.
Q: What is the Biggest Risk You Have Ever Taken in Business?
A: Expanding has always been the biggest risk. New staffing, systems and procedures create the
opportunity to improve our ability to better serve our clients and grow, but it needs to be done properly or it could create problems.
Q: Businesswise, What is Your Next Big Step?
A: Our business investment and estate tax planning division is pleased to announce we have partnered with industry experts and advisors to bring added value to our client base. While small business accounting is still our core service, we have noticed clients were mostly lacking in expert advice beyond their tax returns. Partnering with advisors allows us to take a more proactive role in our clients' tax savings.

MY BUSINESS MOTTO IS... "Our work is guaranteed."
WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS... Saving people money others have missed or would have missed. Amending prior year returns for new clients, objection to CRA audit results, and getting penalties waived for clients feels quite rewarding. I also enjoy the more complicated corporate reorganizations and estate tax planning with corporate inter-generational wealth transfers.
RECENTLY I LEARNED... Apart from keeping up with the constant changes in the accounting industry, I've taken the Life License Qualification Program and obtained my insurance Life Licence. I also enrolled in the Exempt Market Proficiency Course (EMP). I wrote the exam in January this year and passed. I haven't registered to become a Dealing Representative, but it's now an option.
MY BIGGEST SUCCESS IS… My family. From the business success standpoint it
would be my team. We're at the stage where everyone is reliable, experienced, and gets along together. Having that base makes it much easier to take on and train new staff members.
DURING MY SPARE TIME I LIKE TO… Participate in family activities. Our favorite is to go swimming, especially if it involves waterslides or snorkeling.
