Worldwide Who's Who Names Eileen M. Rose Professional of the Year in Medical Research & Development

    FRANKLIN, MA, March 9, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eileen M. Rose, Vice President of Global Project Management for the clinical division of Boston Scientific, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Medical Research & Development. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

With eight years of experience leading global project management for Boston Scientific, Ms. Rose is responsible for managing a department of project managers, as well as a portfolio of clinical trials evaluating cardiac and vascular devices for regulatory approval. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Ms. Rose worked for a children's hospital from 1980 until 1986, Shiley Infusaid from 1986 until 1989, and the PAREXEL International Corp. from 1989 until 2003. She attributes her success to her persistence and hard work. She became involved in her profession after receiving a master's degree. She was working in the research field and decided to move from the laboratory to clinical research.

Ms. Rose received a master's degree in pharmacology from Northeastern University 1985. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and received a Leadership Award in2004 from Boston Scientific. In years to come, Ms. Rose plans to remain with the company and grow its business through acquisition and other therapeutic advances.
