WPAG's Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Wollam was named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in Operations Management. Mr. Wollam is a University of Phoenix business graduate with more than 20 years of overall experience and is considered a technical expert in the areas of optimization, risk management, industry standards, specifications and legal requirements. Prior to establishing WPAG, he held executive-level management and leadership positions with Weatherford and Halliburton and has worked with international oil field companies, major service providers, regulators and private institution throughout the world.
Mr. Wollam started WPAG to help organizations achieve excellence through leadership, risk minimization and process optimization. Mr. Wollam attributes the company's success to industry engagement, leadership and working with operators, service providers, private institutions and government agencies to achieve excellence. A surprising but honorary example of this is that WPAG instructs their direct competitors in the areas of training, auditing and process optimization. When asked why they train their competitors, Mr. Wollam states, "The answer is simple, WPAG believes the oil & gas industry can and should be one of the most efficient and safest industries in the world; the best way to achieve this is for the industry to work together to achieve this common goal."
Prior to his business career, Mr. Wollam served in the United States Marine Corps. During his tour of duty he was named a "Company Honor Man," graduated in the top of his military occupational specialist class, guarded two United States presidents (President Ronald Reagan and President George W. Bush, and received the Kuwait Liberation Medal for serving his country in combat. In 2006, he was diagnosed with a terminal cancer and given six months to live. Mr. Wollam beat these odds and began competing in some of the world's most extreme events, such as the "Peak Death Race" and the "World's Toughest Mudder" to show anyone faced with a life crisis that they could overcome and achieve whatever they conceived.
