New York City Outward Bound Raises $896,000 at Annual Gala; NY City Council Speaker Christine Quinn & NYS Regents Chancellor Merryl Tisch Laud Group's Successes in Improving City's Public Education

At its 16th annual fundraising gala, NYC Outward Bound (www.nycoutwardbound.org) raised almost $900,000 to support its network of nine Expeditionary Learning schools in the City, which bring demanding academics, community and character to students.
