Mr. Baruch is distinguished for his more than 40 years of dedication to the field of law, through which he has served as an attorney dealing in civil cases since 1992. Prior to owning his own business and going into civil law, he served as a deputy public defender at the Orange County Public Defender's Office from 1979 to 1986. Following this period, he excelled as a partner to the law firm Earley & Baruch from 1986 until 1992. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Baruch has enshrined the importance of integrity in both his professional journey and personal life.
Following high school, Mr. Baruch enrolled at the University of California Los Angeles. After one semester, and at the age of 18, he dropped out and enlisted in the United State Army. He was sent to Vietnam, was wounded, and then returned to Los Angeles in 1968 after receiving a medical discharge to embark on his vocational journey. Returning to the University of California in Los Angeles in 1969, he graduated summa cum laude in his Sociology major with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Likewise, in 1976, he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of California Hastings College of the Law. Mr. Baruch has been admitted to practice law by the U.S. District Courts of Central and Southern California.
Despite beginning his career in criminal defense, Mr. Baruch shifted his focus toward civil law in 1992, which formed the foundation upon which his career now stands. Well regarded for his indelible contributions to the field, he has been listed as AV-rated in Martindale Hubble, Super Lawyers for a number of consecutive years, and within the Top 100 Registry as the Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year in the state of California in 2020, as well as the Top One Percent Award from the National Association of Distinguished Counsel in 2014. In the future, Mr. Baruch wishes to expand the operations of his firm and continue practicing law, as well as spend some well-deserved time with his wife.
