    LARCHMONT, NY, May 16, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Clarke's Monday May 18 Auction features American and European antique furniture, bronze candelabra and chandeliers, Midcentury Modern Design, vintage electronic arcade games, Sterling Silver from Gorham, Tiffany and others; lighting including a massive 19th C iron and gilt eagle chandelier; Meissen, Limoges, Dresden, Royal Doulton, Murano and more; a wide selection of semi-antique and antique Persian carpets; Fine Art and bronzes by listed artists.

Antiques
A 19th C. American slantfront desk, a pair of French washstands with great patina, a twin pedestal burlwood server; an Oak Harvest table with Sotheby's provenance; an exceptional Campaign chest; a gateleg table; an ornate iron garden bench, a pair of three-part marble fonts as planters, Spanish Chairs, an Italian two-drawer trestle table and more being catalogued. Reproductions include pieces from Charak and Colonial Williamsburg.

Midcentury Modern Design
A Robsjohn-Gibbings coffee table with original label, a pair of rosewood Eames sidechairs with Herman Miller label, a Paul Evans Skyscraper coffee table, pieces from John Widdicomb and John Stuart, as well as midcentury lighting and decorative arts.

Lighting
A massive ornate black and gilt bronze eagle decorated antique American billiard light, a Austrian crystal chandelier, a gilt-metal basket-form chandelier with Murano shades and porcelain flowers, a signed Lalique chandelier, a 19th C. Bronze and Crystal chandelier, a tole chandelier with etched dome and jasperware plaques.

Decorative Arts
Highlights include a collection of vintage smoking accessories; equestrian leather goods, the colossal Buddha, porcelain and china such as Sevres urns, Meissen, Limoges, Dresden; Royal Doulton, Lalique, Rosenthal, oyster plates, Delft, Hutschenreuther; box collection including glass and crystal, Asian, Russian, and lacquer; bronze hardware, and a Meiji-period Bronze tiger.

Sterling Silver and Plate
Forty lots from a single owner, three generation collection of Gorham, Tiffany, Wallace flatware, Sterling holloware, and antique English sterling plus a .950 silver service.

Fine Art
Includes oils from Kiev-born Barney Korotkin, an Old Master drawing, a 19th C. English oil by George Turner the Younger, oils from Gertrude Davis and Henry T Harvey oil, a 39" signed Boschetti Roma bronze of Mercury; signed 1930's prints from Lily Harmon and George Biddle, and more being catalogued.
