COVINGTON, LA, June 6, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kathy Brenneman, Major Capital Projects Coordinator for Chevron Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of project management.

Ms. Brenneman has 26 years of professional experience. As major capital project coordinator for Chevron, she is responsible primarily for liaising between Chevron's business unit in the Gulf of Mexico and its major capital projects in Houston, TX. Within three short years of taking over, she managed to develop solid working relationships with various project teams and initiated an approved vendor list. Featuring negotiated contracts and rates, the list has resulted in significant savings for the company. Previously, Ms. Brenneman worked at Chevron as a category manager and was already set on an assignment in China; deterred by visa issues, she was appointed major capital projects coordinator, a position that was created specifically for her. She attributes her success to her organzational skills, ability to work with a team, determination to meet all objectives, and relish for facing challenges.

A graduate of the University of Phoenix, Ms. Brenneman received an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the Institute for Supply Management and NAPM. She participates regularly in the New Orleans AIDS Walk and Relay For Life, and volunteers with the American Red Cross in her spare time. Ms. Brenneman looks forward to completing her business degree and earning another opportunity to work in an international environment.
