Ms. Turner ventured from property management into Health Information Management after earning her Bachelor's degree in Health Information Administration. She attributes her success to her mentor and instructor Dorothy Nelson, from East Los Angeles College and her husband, Fred Sorge for their support and encouragement. Both are inspirations in her personal life and career.

Ms. Turner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from Weber State University. She is affiliated with the American Health Information Management Association and the California Health Information Management Association. Ms. Turner aspires to obtain her credentials as a Certified Specialist in Healthcare Accreditation (CSHA) and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within the next five years.
