Ms. Weems brings 29 years of medical experience to S.T.A.R. Orthopaedics, an orthopaedic clinic that specializes in joint replacement surgery. As physician assistant, she serves as first assistant during hip and knee surgeries. Her responsibilities include assisting doctors during procedures, seeing new patients, providing pre-operative services, and making hospital rounds. In addition to her work as a physician assistant, Ms. Weems shares her knowledge by conducting pre-operative classes at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her mentors.

A Physician Assistant-Certified, Ms. Weems received her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2002 from Western University of Health Sciences. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
