With 20 years of experience in the banking business, Mr. Capanna specializes in credit and corporate bond trading. On a daily basis, he is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of 12 located in Rome and London and building an electronic credit trading platform to serve retail-orientated customers. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Mr. Capanna worked as the head of credit trading at IBF Security House and at Italfondiario S.p.A . While studying at the University of Rome in Italy, he worked on a dissertation on the London Stock Exchange. At BNP Paribas, he worked as head of corporate secondary credit trading from 2006 to 2008, as head of floating rate notes from 2002 to 2006, and at the Italian domestic bond trading division from 1998 to 2002 of BNP Paribas.

Mr. Capanna completed coursework in Economics and Finance at the University of Rome in Italy and graduated with Honors in 1989. He received his certification in finance from IFAF in 1992 and is a member of the Association of International Bond Dealers and the Italian Association of Financial Analysts. He published several articles in specialized magazines, mainly on credit trading and banking.
