    COLUMBUS, OH, June 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The VAR 500, the definitive listing of the largest IT solution providers, system integrators, IT consultants and services companies, as measured by worldwide gross revenue, announced Logicalis broke the $1 billion mark in revenue and ranked #87 on its 2009 list.

The VAR 500 editorial team reviewed the financial performance of hundreds of companies, both public and private. Applications were reviewed and cross-checked against multiple independent resources.

Among those highest growth-rate VARs, the top five technologies sold include: unified communications solutions, virtualization software, enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, disk), data center consolidation and enterprise security management software. The top three technologies that are growing in importance are virtualization software, data management software and VoIP hardware.
