LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ, July 8, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Abbie M. Stovall, University Nanoset Program Manager for the Air Force Research Laboratory, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in aerospace engineering.
Since joining the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2007, Abbie M. Stovall has served as a program manager and systems engineer for the University Nanosat Program and as such is charged with coordinating the design, testing and launching of satellites at 13 universities. She attributes her success to the education she received from her instructors and professors, and the support she received from her mother.
She holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering both conferred by the University of Missouri-Rolla. She is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Omicron Delta Kappa. She aspires to become a large satellite program systems engineer.
