Chicago, IL, July 9, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rich D. Zmolek, President, Owner and Founder of Zmolek and Zmolek, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering and maintenance services.
As an ultraviolet specialist with 22 years of experience and an inherent interest in the field of ultraviolet research, Rich D. Zmolek, President, Owner and Founder of Zmolek and Zmolek, has developed his talents in carpentry, plumbing, the re-engineering of machines and equipment maintenance. Although his first love is in the re-engineering of machines, Mr. Zmolek is also the maintenance supervisor for N. Henry & Son, an industrial printing company that creates banners, signs and posters. Prior to earning his position with N. Henry & Son, Mr. Zmolek held maintenance supervisory positions with both Joliet Pattern, Inc. and Heartland Industry.
Mr. Zmolek co-owns Zmolek and Zmolek along with his brother, Steve. Due to Rich's exceptional technical skills, he can re-engineer an old dryer to run better than a brand new one. He works on all types of machines including automatic screen washers, cutters, slitters and banding systems, exposing units and a host of other types of machines. He also works on older printing machines, including the Sias and the Servasa.
When he was told 10 years ago that all ultraviolet dryers would run hot and provide medium output, Mr. Zmolek refused to accept that explanation and after 10 years of development, he is now able to double the output of some ultraviolet dryers. He has been able to bring a dryer with a 100 megajoule output up to a 200 megajoule output; conversely, he has been able to recondition dryers running at 400 degrees Fahrenheit down to 70 degrees Fahrenheit and the machinations of his operating system often puzzles manufacturers who disassemble them.
He markets his services nationally and has been featured in 'Screen Printing' magazine. As someone who attributes his success to his open-mindedness and learning skills, he often finds that the most rewarding aspects of his work to be helping his clients with purchasing decisions - he often encourages them to contact him before forking out unnecessary money for a new appliance. He looks forward to the new challenges that each day brings him.
For his dedication to and knowledge of the fields of engineering and maintenance, Mr. Zmolek has been selected to be featured in Cambridge Publishing's Top 101 Industry Experts book, a compilation of 101 Cambridge Who's Who member biographies and interviews.
