With over 30 years of investment experience, Dr. Snape is a respected authority on new and emerging market analysis. In 1998, he co-founded Nexus Medical Partners, a private equity firm that focuses on investments in the healthcare sector. Prior to Nexus, he co-founded and managed several private equity funds in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has been a founder and early stage investor in many successful companies. He has served on the boards of several of these companies and guided their growth to the point where they became public or were acquired. He began his career in the 1960's as a materials scientist and authored numerous patents and publications in this field. Subsequently, he initiated successful business developments in alternative energy and waste reclamation before focusing on the medical arena. Educated in England, Dr. Snape earned his Ph.D. in Metallurgy from the University of Leeds. He is a member of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers. He has been honored with a Hunt Silver Medal and an A.B. Campbell Award.
