TUCSON, AR, July 31, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Teresa A. Wilson, Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist for St. Joseph's Hospital of the Carondelet Health Network, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
Inspired by the nurses she met while traveling through Latin America, Ms. Wilson embarked on her own career in healthcare 26 years ago. She assumed her current position at St. Joseph's in 2007. An expert in mother and baby care, she is responsible for educating staff, developing clinical leadership, ensuring patient safety, and caring for patients in the labor and delivery and postpartum units. She attributes her success to her passion for her profession.
Ms. Wilson received her Master's Degree in Maternal-Newborn Nursing in 1990 from the University of Arizona. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
