MARION, IL, August 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Jeffrey R. Fox, Physical Therapist for Southern Illinois Healthcare, Outpatient Therapist for Rehab Unlimited, and Therapist in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Unit of Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of physical therapy.

With four years of medical experience, Dr. Fox is recognized as a specialist in orthopedic rehabilitation. He lends his talents to three medical centers, where he delivers outpatient, inpatient orthopedic and neurologic treatment and performs wound care services. Dr. Fox decided to devote his career to medicine because of the influence of his father and grandfather, both of whom were general surgeons, and the motivation he received from his mother, who inspired him to become a doctor after she fell ill and underwent surgery. He is proud to be an employee of Southern Illinois Healthcare, one of 19 companies nationally to earn distinction as an Employer of Choice; he is also proud of his company's association with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, which has been recognized as the Number One Rehab Facility in the Nation for 19 consecutive years. He attributes his success to his people management skills, commitment to his profession, and earnest desire to see his patients improve and regain their skills.

Dr. Fox received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2001 from Northwestern University. He was honored with inclusion in the National Dean's List. In his spare time, he volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. Dr. Fox looks forward to increasing his knowledge and aspires to perhaps one day establish his own practice.
