SALISBURY, MD, August 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Rhonda W. Banks has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership, and excellence in all aspects of education.

Dr. Banks has 19 years of experience in education. She has held supervisory, curriculum, and instruction positions in education and science at both the secondary and university levels. Dr. Banks has been nominated "Teacher of the Year" twice as a secondary science professor. She believes that raising the bar and establishing high standards and expectations in the classroom, educational programs, and work place equal superbly motivated, responsible, ethical and productive citizens.

Dr. Banks received her Doctorate Degree in Education: Innovation & Leadership (Teacher Retention) from Wilmington University in 2005, Master's Degree in Education: Science Research from Salisbury University in 1992, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, with a Minor in Psychology, from Salisbury University in 1989. She is a certified administrator in both Maryland and Delaware.

Besides Dr. Banks' full-time education duties, she is an adjunct professor at local Maryland and Delaware Universities. In addition, she trains softball pitchers and enjoys playing softball and tennis. Dr. Banks also loves to watch sci-fi movies and read good books. Helping her community and charities, she contributes time and donations to the Humane Society, American Diabetes Association, St. Jude Children's Hospital and American Cancer Society.

Dr. Banks' future career goal is to earn an Education Recruiting/Mentoring Director position.
