LAWRENCE, MA, August 26, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nora Fonseca Zabriskie, Psychotherapist for Arbor Counseling Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of mental healthcare.

Mrs. Zabriskie has been a pioneer in the implementation and delivery of clinical services to the Latino community in the state of Massachusetts for over 30 years. She has been the Executive Director for the Behavior Science Institute in Lawrence, Massachusetts; founder and Director of Minority Services at Health and Education Services in Salem, Massachusetts; Consultant to Health Start Programs and Consultant to affirmative action officer. Mrs. Zabriskie attributes her success to her hard work, experience and love for her profession.

In 1984, she received her Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Cambridge. In 1976, she received her social Work Degree from the University of Concepcion, Chile. She has done additional post-graduate studies in Family Therapy and Hypnotherapy.

Mrs. Zabriskie has served as a board member for the Department of Social Services in the Danvers and Salem areas, the Board of Directors for the Visiting Nurses Association of Greater Salem, incorporated for the Salem Hospital, founder and member for the Portuguese-Latino Action Network, etc.
