Her brother, Dr. Marino Scafidi, a chiropractic physician, also resides in Scottsdale, Arizona, after obtaining his degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California in 2007.

Dr. Scafidi has recently become certified to administer immunizations for Walgreens in the state of Arizona for the up-coming flu season of 2009.
